Cooperation with Partners

In order to strengthen the RCOC's capabilities and, more generally, to contribute to the operationalisation of the regional maritime security architecture, the centre is developing exchanges with other regional centres, naval forces deployed in the region, maritime actors and sea users.

To this end, the centre benefits from the support of the United Kingdom and the European Union's Atalanta operation. The centre is also called upon to work with the UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime), INTERPOL, and other regional programmes supported by the European Union.

These exchanges may take the form of signed memoranda of understanding, but may also be part of working relationships based on mutual trust.
